I think perhaps he created it for the collab but not in a monochronus manner then made it monochrome posted it here then submitted the original non-monochonos version in the art portal... :P

I rework a lot of my images just like everyone else. And seeing how I have proof that this was the first place this was posted and spent 5 minutes (tops) reworking the color (which is still predominantly green), and you have no proof of my intentions otherwise, I'd say yeah. That is what you are to believe, because its the truth.

Here's what happened. You made the Green Lantern pic that you posted in your art first. Not the one you posted here. You might have even made it with the intention of posting it here, but I kinda doubt it. I kinda thought that was what was going on even before I saw the one in your art for reasons I'll list. ReNaeNae pretty sure fished for confirmation. Hoping you'd be a little more reasonable, and say "yeah is that bad?". But you got a defensive, and denied that's what you did at all. And on some level you still think 'why is that bad'? I can tell because part of your defense is 'it's still mostly green'.

But you did:
1) Or you wouldn't have said 'I just posted the original'
2) The composition would have filled up the required space instead of using 'the green lantern is lit' banners to fill the remainder.
3) They would have been posted further apart (time wise) because it takes a lot longer than 10 minutes to go from the one here to the one there. No way you recolored this to that in 5 minutes as you claim. Just no way. Seriously try it. Even with the full color version right next to it to sample colors from. I couldn't do it. I recolored my first submission for this. I worked i layers so it was damn easy and it still took me and hour.
4) When I first saw it here I immediately thought it was recolored because the contrast wasn't great enough. Which brings me to the point of this collab.

The point is to create a piece of art under these restrictions to get you to challenge yourself to work in a new way. To get you to think outside your comfort zone. To help us all to grow. Notice no one has flat out called you a cheat or told you that what you did sucks. Because we all think it's an honest mistake.

You're a talented artist. That's why I scouted you. I invite you to make a new piece for this collab. One that you build from the ground up in one color and white at 500x500. I think it will be excellent, and I can't wait to see it.

Considering in how short a time you made this, I think it's pretty good. She has some big hair!
However, it's too small. The size should be 500x500, and yours is 400x400.
