elephant dragon the rendering is freaking awesome. great work doodoomeat, tho i can't really say its in up in the air, its just perched in a tree.
team air extreme that's some extreme air! the concept is great and all the little things going on are awesome.
dragon town as well i like the concept. tho could do with more rendering and depth.

Normally I don't like abstract pieces like this but thisone somehow got me. You were very close to the top3 but Ashman and idiot-monarch deserved some points :)

+ nice light-effect on the rocks
+ pretty planet
- could need a bit more details (on the buildings)
+/- the picture appears a bit empty but I think that's the point of a space picture, at least it really
expresses the silence

Danopus and Cook : Dragon Town
+ nice detailed dragon
+ interesting idea
- a bit empty
- background is a bit boring

GrumpyTom and thies : Falling Guy
+ face expression
- body is a bit deformed
- transparency steals the "sketch-effect"

JustJoshy and The-Worsley-Bear : Flying Pig
+ I like this "painted" background
- looks a bit flat (stronger shadows)
+/- what is the pig so worried about?

CloudEater and LegolaSS : Flying Contraption
+ background makes it really "up in the air"
+ pretty clouds
- "plane" could use some more shadows and smoother lines

+ funny "tank to plane" idea
+ the baloon and the girl in it really fit the steampunk/venetian theme...

Eh, yeah, forgot to mention that my partner went AWOL during the second week.

Anyway, voting.

#1 (3p) - Danopus/Cook's flying city. On a dragon. It has low-res clouds, a plain background and sun. And yet this is the one that catches my attention the most.
#2 - Ashman & monarch. How often do you see those huge behemoths actually doing anything instead of either standing still or going all Hindenburg?
#3 - DooDoo & Nekow - This one is aesthetically the strongest, but it's a bit too surreal to my taste and it just doesn't fit with my idea of being in the air.
