Ok this might sounds absolutley ridiculous...but I just had this strange thought on how there are so many things I would have had my way if the brain dint just do it the way it thinks its" normal " .

Like it sort of controls...you...we all know that..but you dont really control it ?
For example your body can manipulate internal temperaturs to suit its environment and if its really cold outside and you feel like your freezing why doesnt the body rocket the temperatures like it would when your ill. Sure it can maybe increase em just a tad bit maybe up to 37.3 so your not weak from the energy wasting going on but I sure as hell would do that If I could take control.

Amongst loads of other things like tell myself shut off the nerve in my front tooth so I dont feel it because Il go to the dentist tomorow so I can sleep in peace.

I also wouldnt mind controling my emotions because it seems all I can control in this body is my eyes and even the actions I do are limmiting me.

Such as a person wants too commit suicide ( Not me ) he gets an adrenaline blast that completley puts you off...

We have no control over our brains because 'we' aren't the important bit.
Our body would function adequately well without the consciousness, and in fact when the body is running horribly low on energy that part of the brain which governs our beliefs and whatnot gets switched off.
As such, it doesn't care much for the fact that you're feeling pain so long as it knows that something is going on in that part of the body. The pain itself probably isn't going to kill you (and if it was, the brain would request some pain relief).

Also, good luck manipulating your body temperature at will. The body already does that to the best of its ability without causing other damage. The response to infection isn't just a case of turning up a dial on a radiator, and is pretty risky in itself.

Because when your ill a common fever is a spike in temperature. It would be a cause from from the fever/illness.

Because the rest of your internal body organs need to be in a stable enviroment of 37degrees otherwise you would be ill. With even minor changes in body temperature.
