I remember the 2002 NG, where the only front page flashes were that Bin Laden movie and that ice cream truck game where all you did was run people over. The names escape me.

well I thought that changes were made in 2006 (busiest year ever) and I do remember most of it.

Nah, Newgrounds teamed up with Outwar, Neopets, and Ebaumsworld to create the new level icons, as well as the rest of the new design.

And I keep saying it should be the new level 60 instead of that thing.

I hardly remember it, I used to get on here before I signed up, but not religiously. I honestly like this one better from what I do remember.

I did not even have a Newgrounds account until 2008, so while I have a much longer history with this website, it is still nostalgic for me.

I miss all the constant activity the portal had back in 05 and 06. I also miss the old design never got the hang of the new one but meh.

It has been a while since I saw people giving a damn about old school NG...

Most of it. I'm conservative in this sense as I prefer the oldschool and underground over the all-friendly and well polished. I prefer the old levels over the new, black over gray gradient, Beebo over Bitey, exotic stupid ads over well-illustrated MMORPG ads, pop-up profiles over userpages, webcam page over Art Portal, the list goes on .. ~

However, for Newgrounds as a whole, it's the other way around. Alas, Newgrounds shant be like the old just because I tend to fancy such ..
