GAME LINK
I'm making a new game, I don't have a title yet, I have the story line and whatnot, but this is just what i have so far, theres no opening cut scene, menu, save-load, or many other planned features yet, It's mainly just the first section, with the tutorial guy, and basically just a free roam spot. and then theres the first section where you actually fight zombies, NOTE: there will be several different zombies, I only have 1 done so far, and this is just a preview.
I'm looking for POSITIVE feedback, and i hope you enjoy what i have so far.
controls
A and D - walk
SPACE - perform ACTION (talk, take, open, etc)
SHIFT - enter VIEW mode (use mouse to adjust the aim)
MOUSE - aim your gun
CLICK - shoot
1,2,3 - switch weapons
CONTROL - drink water
P - pause

There will be more actions, and whatnot, this is a rough draft of what to come. In this preview you get to use the first 3 guns, handgun, shotgun, uzi. (NOTE: the uzi will have a rapid fire function later on)
all other instructions will be given when you talk to the guy that looks like the fonz.
So enjoy what i have, give me feedback, and yea.
btw - betcha can't guess what 3 games, movie, tv shows, and or comics inspired this game. and point out what they inspired.

lol, I just sorta threw several random zombies on the screen so the test audience could get a sample of what it would be like, it'll probably get less impossible in the final version, I mainly wanted people to die during the preview so they could see the awesome death scene i made. but thanks for checking it out. It's so tedious waiting for a review or a comment or something.

I'd say it's a pretty big improvement over your other flash games (I looked at them). However, rather than simple changing his xscale when xmouse is positive or negative, add an animation to make it more realistic. I think that'd be cool.

I thought about it, It's just that it can interrupt game play alot of the time. having a short .2 second animation in between each turn, But it probably would make it look better. Thanks for the comments on a soon to be new grounds front pager.

oh and btw, what of the art? like my hella sick chopper and the character animations, etc. Was that any good? I'm so eager for responses on this, ive put it here, on my user page and on my clan forum for my dead frontier account. I'll probably continue spreading it on some old forums i havent visited in years, lol.

Your art is amazing in this flash. Looks much better than your previous games, way better. But you might want to ask an artist that question. I'm very shitty at drawing so my opinion is probably meaningless.

lol, thanks i try. I hope to get rid of the terrible rep i got on NG, i mean first my crappy live swif games. Then making someone loose there scouting privileges, and my awful 2 episode series i made. I hope when this is done i can finally be a respectable NG user,lol well thanks. imma go ask some people in the art forum.

lol actually, I think it's cool. Keep shit in your channel, then submit something amazing to redeem. I hope to submit something good one day to top my shit. I can program well but my art doesn't cut it, and I'm a shitty story teller as well :/

Thanks, I'll probably keep it up to see how far i've come some time in the future when im big and successful among the flash community.
and btw, I got good art(hopefully, lol), and have some programming knowledge as well, I could help you out with some art if you want.

I think the stage size is too small. Either that, or the characters are too big. It makes the game look messier than it should. Apart from that it's looking pretty good

they are is too small, like the distance between the starting point and the warp point to the next stage, or the swf dimensions are too small?

oh and btw, In The final version you WONT be able to see the bullet when you shoot, That was just added for me, when i was animating the bullet going across the screen so i knew where it was.
