Hi, I'm new to Newgrounds, and am looking for a coder for my current project.
I also need 8 bit music.

The story is that of an older cop whose girl has gotten tangled up with some bad characters, coupled with a sudden outburst of a new street drug. The game will have a very pixelated, "NES" look to it, and all characters are originally created by me. The overtone of the game will be dark, which should be reflected in the music.

As far as how the game plays, I would like it to be like a point and click, except arrows move the character. 1 key interacts with objects, and interrigation scenes would be action based using 3 keys. For further details, please feel free to ask me.

I'm a music composer who specializes in orchestral epics, drama, action, suspense cues, but I can also work on genres of electronic-related materials (techno, industrial rock, etc), piano, and pop.

I have scored a short-film, scored an entire live play, won a remix contest on Sony Acid Planet, and have worked on a menu track for an upcoming flash game (from the developers that created Manhattan Project).

I'm currently working on a demo track, as I am currently in contact with Sencit Music, the custom trailer music company that worked on Terminator Salvation, Orphan, Salt, and Inception. I will post some of the demo tracks on NG next week.

Here is an action-based track, entitled Sleeping Beauty, that I composed some time ago that received a lot of hits.

Here's my second idea.

I am an aspiring storywriter.

I would like an idea for a story that I've had so long come to life in a game or animation.

I can also act out one of the main characters, Daniel Arcanus.

STORY:
In 3514, A living metal mecha, or LMM was built. She was the first of her kind and as such was labelled LMMPT-001. Her name was Serina, but this was more than a name, it was an acronym. S.E.R.I.N.A. standing for Scientific Exploration in Realistic Intelligence and Neuranium Applications, she was no ordinary machine. She was made of turbidium, and therefore could reproduce and regenerate, but before she could carry out the SCMU tests and therefore carry out her true purpose, trouble arose in Arcanoc City. A gang opposing this new mecha had created their own series of robots, and Arcturus Arcanus, the head of Arcturus Robotics, was head of this new gang. Using his super powered robots, cyborgs, and armor suit troops, he tries to take down Serina. She, however, was NOT about to let that happen.

If this gets good responses and animators, all I need is at least the first two slots, a female voice and an animator, I can get to work and get these gears turning. I will be playing a voice of the secondary main character, Daniel Arcanus, whom creates the main antagonist, Serina.

This will be a romance/Action story! kinda like Scott Pilgrim Vs. the world cause i love that story.

Hey guys,so im trying to assemble a team of people in order to help me build a great Beat-em-up game such as Castle Crashers and Scott Pilgrim vs The World the game! So basically looking for people who can provide Backgrounds, additional art, music, sound effects, programming (AS2 or AS3, depends who wants to help and what your best at) and finally voices (thats a minor thing we need) Payments will be discussed as sonn as the team is assembled.

So Here's the story about the game.. No-Brainer (far left) owns a gem that his family passes down generation after generation. He decides to bring some friends to play video games and just have a good time, but suddenly a bunch of Mafia Men come into his house and steal the gem, now No-Brainer and his friends must defeat the Mafia in order to return the gem safely, and be able to pass the gem down once more!

Characters***

No-Brainer (far left) The one who owns the gem currently, No-Brainer loves to play video games and drink soda all day long. but now his video game playing might just pay off as he has been learning new moves from them in order to fight the mafia

Todd (middle left) The one with the smarts, he knows a lot and also likes to play games, though not as much. His body is not in the best shape, but he can do unique moves such as quick attacks.

Doug (middle right) The cool one (he thinks) he was raised roughy, taking the beatings from his father for every little mistake, but one day couldn't take it anymore, and grew huge in muscle, and fought him and won. Very tough person, though not that good in defense

Emily (far right) the girl of the group, well every game need a girl. Not much to say about her as of now, but she's decent in health and defense and attack.

I have written a whole assload of jokes and comedy sketches for animations and I've just been stock piling them in this 18-page word document for the last two months. (that's 18 pages of .10 font!) Any who, I really could use an animator. The comedy is mostly duo-act humor, consisting of the COMIC (the funny guy) and COMIC FOIL. (straight man) I am in need of an animator with 3+ years of experience, or at least more experience than me, so PM if that sounds like you. If you don't animate but you're a good voice actor, PM me anyway. I figure if I can record a few of these animators will be more willing to work on them. Here's an example. Enjoy!

COMIC: I've bin putting this project of fer too long. I'm gonna go kill Osama Bin Laden already.

FOIL: Oh my god! You've gone drunk on power with that gun!

COMIC: No... I got drunk on beer while having a gun on my person, using it as a drinking glass.

FOIL: Do you see that you are literally putting a loaded gun in your mouth?

COMIC: Alright worry-wart, I'll take the bullets out. (points gun at ceiling) You may want to cover your head.

FOIL: Don't shoot them out! The barrel of that gun is filled with highly flammable liquid!

COMIC: Whoa, that was close! Almost wasted some precious booze! (takes a swig from the gun.)

FOIL: Would you stop drinking out of that thing?

COMIC: There aren't any clean glasses.

FOIL: Drink from the bottle then.

COMIC: Oh, that's very classy.

FOIL: Oh well. I'm getting rid of that gun before it kills one of us.

COMIC: Hey, guns don't kill people. People kill people. Also, bullets can really do a number on ya.

I've just noticed gazzy's post - i do more serious backing tracks, if it's a cartoon style you should definitely go to that guy - he's really talented. i do the sort of backing music you hear in movies

If anybody's got some ideas for games, and art skills, I'm willing to be that programmer. I'm fluent (lol) in AS2 AND AS3.

I'm an artist and i'd like to collaborate in Flash games doing the art or doing concept art/working on the script (i'm in my 4th year in college studying to be a creative in the advertising business). I have done some games already; some of them programming and doing the art but i can't really code. My latest work was with a sponsor and i did the art while they programmed it.
