Need to write a essay about the book 1984 and compare it to the movie The Matrix.
Please help me out, im luck out of ideas.
I suggest that you write the essay, comparing the book "1984" and the movie "The Matrix". If you compare those two good enough, you'll get an A.
a particular lock comes to mind...

Even though it'd probably coming from a 13 year old, he's right.
Bugger off.
Good luck.Sounds extremely complex considering the varied social, and political attitudes, messages, and ideologies that are incorporated within the Matrix and 1984.But it can definitely be done.Just use comparisons and contrasts, what you saw was similar and what was different.See how the parallel underlying themes both come together. But also try to unite all these factors by a unifying theory.Like how the perceptions of our personal thoughts guide us in our understanding of government, society, and the power of reform that can occur with the right influences to lead to the outcome of 1984 and The Matrix.
I haven't properly studied 1984, but from what I know there's a definite similarity in that both of them are set within a dystopian society... so just identify the parallels and differences in the two totalitarian governing powers, point out all the biblical references in The Matrix, and you should be fine.
Also yeah, we're not here to do your homework for you... I just write a LOT of comparitive essays at university so I felt inclined to help a little. ;P
