Guys it's 23th march, and i still don't have the preloader. Does Tom expect us to do something decent in one month? In a month i'm able to do only a shitty game.

What about you? Preparing for it?

Surely you can work on the flash game / movie BEFORE the pre-loader is put in right?

No offence, but a lot of other people may be more experienced that you with flash animation and may be able to produce more than what you have called a "shitty game".

I never submit anything for Pico Day and because of that, I am usually ignorant about the date and where to find the preloader.

I haven't called him shit at all - I'm stating that there will be people with more flash experience submitting works on Pico Day that could produce it in the same amount of time given. I said "no offence" so he doesn't get the same idea that you had - that I was trying to offend.

I totaly understand you. But you know... Pico Day isn't day only for experienced artists to submit something. I also have life outside of the computer, and just sure won't spend month of my life in from of the computer without breaks to do something at least average. I just don't find it fair from your point of wiev.

The preloader for events like that is usually posted a few days or a week before the day of the event. You shouldn't wait for the preloader to start. I'm sure some people have already started a month or two ago.

Also, this should've been in the flash forum.

yeah. you should always start in advance, as the process takes tedious hours to complete... and that doesn't inlude unexpected occurrences

Nah, my current animation/actionscript skills are not good enough. And I cannot learn all that in 1 month and a few days.
