Is it a recent thing? About 2 years ago when I had to make that trip, it was a 4 hour long train trip on some Virgin bullet train outside of London.

Trains are fucking bullshit anyway, unreliable and the cost, jesus christ, 3 quid for a return to Manchester, 10 miles away. And if I was 15 it'd only be 1.50 which is a joke, tickets should be priced on weight.
