This is why I hate YouTube now. People like Sxephil, Lisanova, CharlesTrippy, and all other members of the popular YouTube crowd, use misleading titles in all capital letters coupled with a sexual thumbnail to reap the benefits of an ignorant and horny audience. All of you have seen how these videos are titled. They're usually things like "HOT CHICK DOES YOGA" or "HOT CHICK goes to the movies with FAT GUY." This dirty tactic is used%uFEFF solely for gaining an increase in ratings without regard for honesty.
Look at LisaNova, she might as well be titling the videos "GETTING ORAL" or "IN THE POOPER" or "HUGE CANS". Oh wait, she already did. They have no shame and certainly no respect for their audience. I%uFEFF remember 2 years ago when I could watch a video with a title that was reflective of the actual video being watched. Now I have to wade through all the pornographic titles (which encompass around 2/5ths of the videos on YouTube) to find something decent to watch.
The icing on the cake here is the clear manipulation of YouTube's API to benefit their view counts and adsense revenue. The question of the day: a formerly well disguised method of getting your video under "Most Discussed". I say formerly due to the fact that the question of the day is in a ridiculous number of videos and how most of the questions usually have so little to do with the%uFEFF actual video. Do you really think the producer of the video reads all 20,000+ comments?
Continuing on the manipulation of YouTube's front paging methods, we'll discuss the favoriting and rating system. Don't you love%uFEFF how every YouTuber demands the favoriting and 5-starring of their video? Congratulations, you as a conglomerate audience have just propelled the video in question to the front page under "Most Popular" in whatever category it is listed under. Nice job.
The best way for a YouTuber to get more views and subsequently, more money, is to abuse pop culture. This ties in with the sexually motivated titles and thumbnails. All you have to do is base your video on certain celebrities, movies, pop music icons, etc to increase your views by tens of thousands. Capitalize the fuck out of the names of these things too. Make sure the title resembles this: "HOT CHICK wants to FUCK JUSTIN BIEBER and go%uFEFF watch TWILIGHT in MY BED?!?" Bingo, flawless victory.
TL;DR? I fucking hate YouTube because it's plagued with content producers that prey on and benefit off of the libido of 12-17 year old males and otherwise curious femaies.

Though your hatred is garnered my hatred is for a different reason . Im a Hardcore Gamer , and I love Gaming . I Beat my games to 100 % just about 95 % of all games . That means 1000/1000 for xbox and getting all platinum trophies . and i have an abundance of games (every ps3/360/wii titles). though when I record some Gameplay footage I get cited for copyright infringement . also I believe im ineligible for a partnership .
What gets me Riled up is the fact that Machinima Is Sponsored and make $$$ off doing essentially the same thing I do . yet im ineligible. things like this are contradictory and somewhat depressing because you are unable to talk to some legitimate youtube employee or admin who can give you straight answers .
Then again maybe im not trying hard enough . who knows but 100,000 views a video isn't something to sneeze at ... ( the account I used has since been closed out of frustration)

I'm subscribed to most famous Youtubers and it's funny how when you wait a few days before watching a Shay Carl vlog, And you have people watching it who weren't subscribers, saying stuff like "what the fuck is this shit?" and people saying how ugly the girls in the vids are. Lot's of people seem to get pissed off at how annoying and ugly Shay's wife is.
Obviously because all these people were expecting something like a pornish video or something and all they got was a bunch of randoms talking about stuff all day. Now these vlogs are coo to watch for fans and stuff, but random people wont give a shit about these families and crap if they don't know them.
The trick is to use the drugs once to get there, and maybe spend the next ten years trying to get back there without the drug.

I love youtube, because fortunately i'm in possession of a mouse that allows me to control what I do on each and every website I go to!!! I know! How cool is that.
It makes YouTube real simple cause I can just move this magical mouse up to the search bar, completely ignoring the highly offensive "Most Popular" etc. videos, and look for what I want to watch.

This is why I ignore looking for anything dirty on youtube, because dumbfucks like them use misleading titles to get an audience, which in perspective means one of two things. 1) Their videos are a hulking piece of shit that nobody would ever watch so maybe they do it to get views. 2) Maybe they're just a attention whores that like to fuck with the horny users of the group? The more views those people get, the more they're paid! Ratings might determine how much they're paid, as well. Hence, why they always have to leave annotations that say "Rate this 5 stars & leave a comment! Favorite this video! BLAH BLAH BLAH!" They're Youtube partners. Ads plague their videos because they generate ad revenue and stuff.
I never understood why so many people get so angry at Youtube partners for using those tactics to get views. They need to make a living somehow, don't they? The tactic works for them, so they're going to keep using it. Hate 'em all you want, but they're getting rich. All they're really trying to do in the end is just earn a salary.

I couldn't stand that site because all the users do is arguing about what would happen if Russia invaded the USA or viceversa, or if a random music band is better than another random music band...frankly, I can safely say that 30% of YouTube's users are idiots who should be prevented from using the internet..
So now I only visit it when I KNOW what I want to watch, and try not to read the comments and, even more, not to respond after reading them.
Also, about the guys naming and tagging their vids wrong: I don't know what's wrong with the people who actually fall for it.
