I'm Scottish, and have no idea what you're on about. See, I've learnt to stay away from these petty religious grudges you hold, and religion in general.

I'm afraid not, I'm just happy.
You see in Ireland their is this divide. Some people in Ireland think their British. Those people are unionists "Loyal" to the queen. Those people as petty as they are despise us happy people who just want to go out, drink and have a good time.
They hate anything green and much prefare the colour orange. For historical and cultural reasons they claim. And so whenever you see an "orangeman" on St Particks day, run up to him and pinch him for not wearing anything green.
I will let the Ali G demonstrate it it a bit better http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yarrY9Q0_

Enjoy annoying these people as much as I do :D

I'm not Irish, I'm tea-total, but I'll drink to that. I see no point why Ireland can't be one island, one country.

I think that's a little hypocritical, seeing as the image you posted contains Religions references that some people may take offence to. It doesn't bother me, seeing as it means nothing to me, but I'm under the impression that this has a lot to do with religion.

I'm sure if the Queen was a catholic all the loyalists would be too. You just cant win with them. They just hate anyone who isn't British.
And theirs the point of the thread....To make fun of the fact they made it a religious thing and still failed because nobody cares but them.
SO ANNOY THE FUCK OUT OF THEM :D

For someone who said they aren't really involved with this, you sure do seem to have a biased opinion on the topic.
I see nothing wrong with people classing themselves as British. I quite often list myself as being British, but that doesn't mean I love the Queen. I think it's somewhat wrong that she get's paid so much of the tax payers money for doing little else than attract tourists and act as a figurehead. I'd much rather the individual countries worked together as oppose to got their own separate ways.

Lol, you Republicans are silly. You still think religion plays a part in British government... cute. For the record though, both Loyalists and Republicans are twats.
But yeah, just got back from the pub. Happy St Patricks Day to you, sir.

What you on about I know it has nothing to do with religion. The "protestant state for a protestant people" was the power base that turned this shit into a sectarian conflict. But were by that and I would welcome any protestant who hates the fact the royal family get a free ride as much as I do. Just like the old pope.
The only difference being donations to the church are at the discretion of each individual not enforced by the government. See am back from the pub as well, our day got cut short, but a can still type and aw that. Am makin sense a know a am.
Happy St Patricks day to you as well then mo chara :D

Fair point. I'm pretty pro-monarch, though only in the sense that I think it's better to have an impartial head of state and a partisan government. I wouldn't mind if we had a president though, personally. I just think it'd be unnessecary.
