What thermal compound is used to coat the ps3's CPU and GPU, or I'm sure anyother CPU in anyother computer device

If your looking for a good thermal compound for a processor, try that arctic type. It's the only brand that i keep hearing about as being good.

Most people say it lowers the temperature by about 4 to 5 degrees.

I have no idea what the PS3 uses though it shouldn't really matter if you are planning on putting thermal compound on that.

Doesn't matter.. You should replace it with Arctic Silver 5.
