Infection

OK so I have a cut near my ankle. I don't wanna go to the hospital, but I think it's infected or something.
It burns sometimes and it hurts after about 1 month since I got it. Should I be worried? There's no red areas around it and it's not swelling, it scarred. Can you guys help me out or something? I don't wanna die. I'm dead serious, just by posting on the BBS you would know how desperate I am. :/

Wet some cotton balls with isopropryl alcohol and rub them over the cut, it will hurt like a bitch but should wipe out any infection there. After that, rub it down with hydrogen peroxide, wrap it up in medical tape and cloth and you should be good.

If not, see a doctor,if it is still infected after all of that it's probably too deep and you have to see a doctor.

Hey, maybe read the post I just made? I have had the same thing happen to me before, and no I'm not trolling you either. What I posted should wipe out any infection that isn't deep in your leg, if it is deep you do need to see a doctor.

Irrigate it with clean water or sterilizing alcohol, then use some Hydrogen peroxide and bandage it up with gauze and something to tape the gauze to the wound.

First aid kids come fairly cheap, and should have most of what you need.

If it gets worse, go to the hospital.

Thanks man, I already did that. But like I had this a month ago, if it was infected the symptoms would have shown up earlier, right? That's all I want to know right now. Thanks again, just because someone might say something helpful I posted this, thanks for being born.

In seriousness, you should go to the hospital, because it shouldn't last a month.
My dad tried to do this with a finger wound he got while gardening, and he lost feeling in that finger.

I suggest dissolving salt in lemon juice. Then bath the wound in it.

Results may vary, but I've done it before, and it clears most infections, as long as it's not to serious.
