Your country is full of Nazi bastards anyway. I watched this British documentary by a guy named Louis Theroux who went across the US looking at the Nazi way of life over there and some of those people are twisted.

Those of you who say Gundam promotes nazism realize that the Zeons are the bad guys, right? The only series where they were protagonists, they all died.

I would be more worried if we were sheltering our children from the truth. And that is, there were, and still is to some extent, Nazi's in the world. Did you never think that maybe by seeing something in this cartoon, and then relating it against what they learn in school (omg yes you people do learn at that place), they might just broaden their horizons? That doesn't mean they're going to go around like Cartman after the fact. Stop being so damned narrow minded.

If you're looking for a Nazism reference, Giren Zabi in one episode mentioned exactly this quote:

"I'm going to follow in the footsteps of Hitler".

But he was shot in the head with a beam gun at point blank, thus having a well deserved death near the end of the series.

you know, i downloaded this movie off suprnova the other day called, 'an education for death-Walt DIsney.' i watched it, it was in technicolor and such, and it was a movie that was pretty much anti nazi propaganda. signed by walt disney at the i might add. it was the story of a boy growing up in fascist nazi germany and how he grows up and is educated and such just so he can join the army and get sent to the front lines and killed.

Not that I agree with gundam teaching Nazism or anything, I wouldn't know, I don't watch the show, it's one of my least favorite of all anime series that I've seen, but what would be wrong with teaching children about Nazis anyway? It's not like they're teaching them to BE Nazis.

And the reason we talk about Nazis around here is because the Nazi movement in Germany is an interesting part of modern history. I for one actually like studying history.

Teaching ABOUT sure is different from teaching to BE something.

So having Nazi elements in a cartoon should not influence anyone to be a Nazi unless the viewer is mindless enough to do so.
