Haiti-like disaster in Iran, or NK

Say there's this Haiti earthquake level disaster in Iran, or North Korea, [insert random enemy of the USA here]. What would happen? Would we take opportunity to kick 'em when their down or would we send millions rebuilding it? Or something else all together. Discuss I guess.

Well I think that a bad earthquake happening in a middle eastern country like Iran would be a good chance for us to go and help are reputation by providing aid and assistance.

North Korea doesn't have much contact with any other country's though, that's part of the reason they have no economy and that the country's citizens are starving. if anything a bad quake hitting NK is probably as good an opening as anyone could have for invading the place.

In Iran the Iranians wouldn't probably let the US through, they have plenty of other western countries who would give support anyway, and there stable enough to send aid themselves (since unlike Haiti they aren't all bunched together in one space)/

In North Korea there probably gonna bitch about it and let support come in regulated.

You know, if the earthquake hits the exact place where the nuclear weapons are, then they will come crashing down and all explode and there will be enough intensity to destroy the entire country, if not the entire continent, so we'd better pray it never comes to that. No. Breaking a nuclear weapon with a huge hammer won't make it explode, you need a detonator, thats why the Japanese didn't get a Nuclear Bomb, because they couldn't detonate it. And I really doubt the Koreans are stupid enough to stash all there Nuclear weapons in one spot.

Let France deal with them. They are the ones who made Haiti a slave colony, so let them deal with that. They also have a history of aiding rebel terrorist nations (i.e. the American colonies during the Revolution), so they can help Iran and North Korea if something were to happen.

Hey man they are already on that path, they have just the same amount of pledged aid per capita as the United States (1/2 a billion over two years) and cancelled all of Haiti's debt to them. Good samaritans or a form of reparations?

Iran is actually located in a very active seismological area and the next earthquake there could be catastrophic.

Wait, are you serious? What would happen if there was like a grenade or something and you shot it? Would simply nothing happen? The same thing with a bomb? Those stupid people in pop culture will have you think that a bomb hitting something hard will make it explode. I did not even know the atomic bombs used against Japan were like that.

Nuclear weapons are designed to only go off when they are armed, the worst that could happen is that a core could crack open and start to leak radiation.

Chances are that we are going to help the civilians but not the government in order to ignite a riot against the government, so that we have a political leader who's more fond of the western world.

Honestly I don't think America would do anything for Iran or NK. We'll probably say condolences and say we will provide help but in the back of our heads it's whatever and most likely they wouldn't accept our help anyways.
