This is really a good way to keep everything simplified, and now you can include major community project's, and contests as well. Also we can have simple pages to edit for updates on some projects, which may have been tedious to update in the forums before. Perhaps pages on rising artists, organize clan or crews information for stat folks. It can include pointless graphs and a whole bucket of pointless stuff about everything. So much to do now that you organized a bookshelf of information.

Haha, ha, haha..... Ha......
I have a hunch chat wont live up to everyone's expectations after its released. The Wiki is actually really cool. :P
So when is the main NG toolbar going to get a wiki extension?
No matter what your weaknesses are, make sure your own abilities supersede them.

SURE BEATS CHAT RIGHT?
Excellent idea! This will really help out in cutting down some of the two common questions asked in the Wi/Ht?: How do I make Flash/Games, and How do I earn money. :)

Seriously. The chat is only going to benefit how many people, 30-50 at most? This is much more useful.
im contacting supermariobross he lives 30 minutes from Wade and knows alot about Newdounds he can help
From Clubbing Seals to saving a Dog. Newgrounds sure has changed and for the better. NG Wiki is great, and actually helpful.
Awsome newgrounds wiki... but doesnt some one always make a wiki out of everything i think there is one already
I just want my name to be considered for management of the history page, specifically the main page. I'm a stickler for grammar as well as important literary devices and techniques. I will never sacrifice the proper flow of a piece for something that an Ivy League English professor would find objectionable, but I know all about technical writing.
I've been on Newgrounds for close to five years, with two awards to my credit. I've amassed almost 1,000 posts, which isn't a lot, but I've been reading them all of my five years. I try to be active in the community; as it stands I've got a part in the upcoming asdfcollab, and I have ongoing artistic partnerships with several users.
To my credit, received a grade of "A" in (College) Freshman English, American History, and Anthropology, all of which included heavy writing components. I'm a Mass Communications major, so this seems like a great opportunity.
Somethings that might be helpful:
In the music and audio resources: Voice Acting Tutorial
Also, I didn't know if you were interested in listing some of the free flash alternatives such as liveswif and Pencil... but yeah that is your call. The lack of AS support in them make them difficult to bring quality to Newgrounds, but I have seen some good projects come from them.
Ill add some more ideas if I can think of them.
How come it doesn't say why the FUCK the Flash Ads sometimes time-out for a few days in a row in which none of your impressions get count?
It certainly always times-out the day I create an unworthy hype about a few of my flicks, so they can spread, because I haven't done anything new since the API came online.
Now, I only got animations and no games going, and those that have ads have been online and cruising through the web ever since created, without dem ads.
Surely I must be missing out some share there, doesn't matter.
Just wondering, does everyone's impressions time-out from time to time, leaving no revenue whatsoever even with half a million hits each day?
How about recording stuff about the new artistic trends for flash or music or whatever?
Giving names to styles and stuff people are adopting, where and how those trends were born and facts.
For instance Newgroundsism could appear, or Dick jokism idk
stop posting so much tom. i hate seeing that smiling icon of yours

I usually frequent the VG and collaboration Forums. If you find me anywhere else, I'm lost and can't find my way back.
But really, I love you tom, and all of newgrounds.
I was just mad right there because I come home from a 10 hour shift and I realize I failed to make a living a n y w a y s.
Not like that's your fault. You kept me living ever since you opened up contests on newgrounds.
just continue to Keep Newgrounds Alive, Rockin', and very much Personal.

At least you flash folks get a decent amount of money from your submissions. I made 63 cents in February, and that was a GREAT month.

Cool for Blizzard.
And, eh, THANKS Tom EVER SO MUCH for this... Amazing present... Yeah... *tosses it into trash behind my back*
Isn't there already an unofficial Wiki for us, anyway?
I'm glad we saved the dog and all, but this update feels kinda weak because there's already an unofficial wiki. I guess I was just hoping for the Lit Portal... Still, congrats, Tom - Modding that thing is gonna be Hell, innit?
My 1,337th post (the second one I made in that topic).
Well I was thinking for the NG Wiki...
It would be nice to have a "Users Page", giving a little bio of every Staff members, long-time site contributors and such. But that do sound like a lot of trouble.
Other than that I'm loving it so far!
You should totally put the big Newgrounds hits (like Numa Numa) in there. They surely helped make Newgrounds bigger!

OH MY GOSH THIS IS THE BEST IDEA I'VE HEARD FOR A WHILE. LIKE ALL DAY.
But srsly, you should do that. There are indeed enough usable photos on his website.
Or you could just talk to Master-Samus and ask for the picture.
That's such a b'dass idea.

We are right here where we have been since 2006. I am happy enough that NG has decided to give its users information- the community clearly welcomes it. I am also very pleased at the money raised- well done everyone!
However, I am a little dissappointed that the staff have ignored us completely in this, despite our sending them various messages in the last few weeks, as well as putting in a huge ammount of work into promoting and improving our wiki lately. We even made changes as per one of the staff's request recently.
This is not a real wiki- Tom says "the entire community can't edit pages ala Wikipedia (can you imagine that?!) ." No, I agree, this is a professional site now. However...
Hundreds of people- 250 pages, 93, 000 words, over 200 registered users, lots of vandalism, lots of work- isn't that what a real wiki is? We will aim to work constructively with this new set of info pages and see how it goes.
Compare the Official page on Batting Average with ours:
We are not redundant yet!
For NG's official info go to the official pages- no problem. For a different approach, come to us!
