I'm curious about what to do once you have "become " your character, do you do the same things as the character, do "you" feel the same as before?

Cupil from Skies of Arcadia, then I can spend my days wrapped around a cute girl, fly around freely and snack on pieces of the moons, also I could morph into swords and slice people up who want to harm Fina thus making her love me so I get more time to spend my time wrapped around her body. I would also have a cute voice and cute appearance to boot!
