Need Help With Clay Figures 2010-03-03 21:44:14 Reply

What I'm trying to do is create a walk cycle. The problem is not that I don't know how to do the cycle it's with the figure. With the walk cycle itself both feet have to be on the floor at all times otherwise it falls over. When trying to make the figure move it falls apart if it gets too cool and I end up fixing it and losing the pose. Can anyone give me some advice?

to be honest with you it sounds like you need better equipment if you want to take it seriously. til then just try to keep your figure warmish (use a heater or something) and try pinning it down out of camera shot when its only on one leg

Hm, the closest thing I have to heaters are the two desk lamps I use for lighting. As for pinning it down I might be able to do that if I put it on cardboard. Thanks for your help, I appreciate it.
