hmm.. I just recently started animating and am still in the stages of getting familiar with tools. I haven't even started on ActionScript yet. Anyways, does reducing the filesize of an .swf file have to do with adding ActionScript? I really have no idea.

If anybody knows of a way to reduce that would be great.

Btw, check it out! lol im proud of my progress

You can reduce filesize by clicking modify in your flash menu and scroll to shape and click optimize.

You'll see a volume bar on how much you can optimize your curves than pick your settings.

If your unhappy with the results than go to edit and pick undo optimize curves and try again until your pleased with it.

Remember you want to keep image quality and lower your file size.
