I got that right, but before the window fully opened I clicked close, and then end now.

It should pop up again if the virus is really bad or it may not. It depends on what kind of program it was. If it was from a foreign body, it could very well be a virus in itself. I kept getting messages telling me to update things and when I did really bad things happened, and those are the kinds of viruses that disguise themselves.

It was not very well disguised, since I don't have an antivirus program, and it was "scanning" my computer.

Find a real antivirus program that's free or cheap, and get it off.

Avast and AVG work pretty good.

I also used to get a window that would pop up saying its scanning and my computer is infected. but it looks really fake and i could tell it was actually a virus itself. get AVG its the best
