Personally, I think that abortion shouldn't be allowed unless you count extreme cases eg a 16 year old girl who was raped, or something.

Otherwise, I think that governments should just encourage people to put their unwanted children up for adoption and encourage people to adopt.

I'm catholic, and in no way is my opinion biased by my religion. If you were being a whore and got pregnant, then at least have the common courtesy to put it up for adoption, for that 1 in a million chance that he could have been a great person for the world, if you don't want your parents to find out, then you should have never gotten drunk and fucked a random dude at that party you filthy whore. But if you were raped, then it's ok :3

Having sex does not make one a whore.
It takes two people to get pregnant, not just the female.
You can get pregnant the first time you have sex.
Potential life is not life and attempting to pursue every potential is incomprehensibly stupid.
Creating a person is not necessarily better than not creating a person.
Pregnancy is hard on the body .
Someone should never be forced to do something against their will-that includes bringing a baby into the world (just because they created the potential for one to further develop) Any government that would force its control upon a being's body like that is in huge violation of human rights.

I think the real problem is that people are trying to force mothers to do what they think is moral and right. I think that the law and opinions and shit like that should stay out of that matter, because in the end, what you think about abortion doesnt matter. Its the mother's choice, not yours. No matter how awful or evil you think it is, its the mothers choice. The fetus doesnt have a coincidence, a working brain etc. It would be no different than killing a centipede. Except the centipede might just drain your bank account, make you lose your job, make you drop out of school, etc. Some people just arent ready for a baby when one comes along, and a dead baby is better than a living baby in a poor house with nothing to eat.

Sure it might be selfish. But you could always make another baby, coming back after losing everything is a different matter. Getting pregnant is usually easier than rebuilding your life from scratch, and having to take care of a baby on top of that.

You don't even get a soul until you're like, six months old. Until then your just this "monster blob" thing.

People who are firm believers in God believe that your killing a person by havin an abortion. The reason they don't have a spaz about killing animals and eating them, is because they believe humans are far more valuable. But in fact God wants everything to be "equal". Basically they are contradicting themselves.

Well I can understand why some people would have trouble with abortion. You are still killing a soon-to-be human after all. But I think it's probably better to have an abortion than an unwanted baby. I mean, you can wonder if the baby is better off if (s)he is just being neglected by his parents, or is being put available for adoption and finds out later that it was unwanted or will never know its real parents at all.

Also I think the decision is entirely up to the parents. They should do what's best for their child, and other people should not try to force their beliefs onto them. Not in church, not anywhere.

read my later post, i'd rather be dead before birth than alive just to starve to death. But maybe it isnt our choice to make. But someone has to make that choice eventually, and thats not mine, not yours, its the mothers. So lets just leave it at that, because what we think doesnt matter, unless you are pregnant and have a child that you cannot support.
