If you like the old games more than the new stuff. If you prefer Super Mario Bros. over Gears of War, if you prefer Doom over Halo, or if you prefer Gauntlet over World of Warcraft, then this is the thread is for you.
This is for all of those retro gamers. So if you consider yourself one, this is it.

I don't know if you would consider me a retro gamer...

As long as it is within Atari 2600 - Dreamcast, your good. Basically consoles that they don't make games for anymore but you still play them a lot.
(Ps2 COULD be counted, but that's a little too new)

Oh boy... a retro video game thread. I can't see this being blown up into a feces filled storm of people bitching about this.

I know, some people just don't like old games as much as new stuff. I admit that I DO like new stuff, but theold stuff is really fun and posses more of a challenge then newer stuff.

Batman (NES) vs. Batman: Arkham Asylum
Tell me which is better and why.

Well that is a tough one, I'm not gonna lie.
It all depends on who you are talking to, if you are talking to someone who like a hell of a lot of difficulty in a game then they will say NES, but if you are talking to the casual player they will most likely tell you Arkham Asylum.
It's all a matter of opinion and who you are talking to.
I am not answering this question because I have played neither of them.
I DO however have a question, but those who comment are more than welcome to answer the Batman one, but which do you think is better, Jet Grind Radio (Dreamcast) or Jet Set Radio Future (XBOX)?
