Things You Want Too See In Mugen

To those who haven't heard of MUGEN, it's a fighting game engine created by Electbyte. More info here.

I have seen what people have done to this engine and I'm not that much pleased. I know one of you have probably felt the same. I would like to see much more in MUGEN and Fighter Maker.

Mugen already has everything. They even have tentacle and amorphous blob rape monsters.

What annoys me about Mugen is that there are millions of "Devil God Evil Savior Ryu" and stuff like that where they take an overpowered version of a character in Mugen and make them even more overpowered than the last.

What I would really like to see in Mugen is someone (maybe a group of people) working on characters for a game of their very own. They could design a roster of characters, maybe 8 to start with, and balance them so that they are all made specifically to compete with eachother fairly and people could basically download their game and play with those characters. I think that would be way more awesome than "someone just finished another completely unstoppable character, download now!"

Well, I had some wants.

I would like too see a three-way tag team battle and high jumping, a la, Marvel VS Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes and Capcom VS SNK: March of the Millenium. A vertical scrolling Beat-em-Up style fight like Streets of Rage's Duel mode and Alpha Denshi's Agressors of Dark Kombat.

Pure balance in stats, but that may be complicated.

I want to see better transitions in rounds. And not just the typical "Round 1, Round 2, Fight" thing, either. something like Capcom's Marvel Super Heroes, Twilight Frontier's Fighters, Killer Instinct, that sort of thing.

Fights that focused less on supers and hypers and more on normal combos. Maybe even a fight without the use of specials(free from Calling Your Attacks, at least).

A Results Screen.

More SNK/ADK/NEO GEO edits. It's mostly Capcom sprites that tend to be used for the basics of a character. SNK Playmore has some good concepts, as well.

More Nouns(If You Know What I Mean) from western fiction...

.. and I guess fiction from the rest of the world. Like Pucca, for example.

This isn't just for MUGEN. This could apply other engines. Like Fighter Maker.

I might think of more, later.

1. A site that actually has characters (almost every site that supposedly has them just gives you a link to the creator's site).
2. A program like Fighter Maker, but easier, and comes with a tutorial so you don't have to search for one on YouTube that actually works.
3. A background maker.
4. A story maker.
There's lots of things they need to make in MUGEN.

Ever play Brawl? Interactive like that, so basically, I mean a combination of both destructible environments and damaging obstacles. Right now, the levels are just a backdrop, and that's lame.
