3.93 / 5.00 4,634 ViewsAs you may have heard, I've decided to turn the "beauty is humanity" short into a series.
The plot will involve one of the Grey Men from the year 1,002,010 AD, and the general backstory is, he's dirt poor and is hired to be exploited by a scientist who has discovered the marvel of time manipulation. I guess you can see where the story goes from there, and the following episodes will unfold in the sequence as seen in the original, plus 5 additional time periods.
The problem is, I only have limited ideas for the conflict to each episode. I mainly need help with the Medieval, Renaissance, 20th century, and New Human time period episodes. Actually, if you want to suggest conflicts for ANY of the time periods, go ahead, they will be taken into consideration.
If anyone would be willing to bounce ideas around regarding episode conflicts, that would be awesome.
Well, if you are looking for ideas, you might want to ask by the writing forums as well, but either way, maybe you could focus on a more negative aspect, as you advance in the future, to go for something deep. Remember that back in Renaissance, progress was always frowned upon, many great discoveries were labeled as fake because differed with the church, and many great inventors were killed by the same reasons.
However, to be perfectly honest, it seems to me like the whole thing is better as it is. You've had a nice vision for a movie, but don't try to exploit it so much by making a million animations out of it, as the movie works better on it's own as a small clip, not a series, if you ask me.
That's a pretty good point with the Renaissance part. Noted.
The post-apocalyptic stage will be very grim, the military feudal part will be dark as well, but then the "perfect future" part turns happy again, as we've made up for all our losses.
