Just checked STEM's link... Wow English grammar is so easy compared to French grammar... are you kidding me? People have trouble with that kind of stuff? I don't know why, but apostrophes are one of the things that annoy me the least. I'm actually more annoyed by "you're" and "your". As well as people who put everything in one block of text.

I'm taking honors English classes in college, and the students that claim to be English majors still make basic errors like adding unnecessary plurals to "its" and don't seem to know how possessives work. Though I would expect high school students to have mastered the most fundamental rules of the English language, I can't say that I actually expect it.
