The job on the raichu is good in a hyper realistic sort of sense, machamp though admitted took a while to guess without referring to a index that shows all of the monsters from 1st generation seems a little spaced out.
Was RYB your favorite in the series?
Yellow was my first gameboy game ever, so I suppose so, yeah. This is pretty much the team I've been using in almost every game since then, acquiring each of them as quickly as I could and then progressing through the game from there. The spacing was somewhat intentional, as when I began the sketch I didn't know in my mind how much room each one was going to take up. None of it was pre-planned. I'm pretty sure I started with the sketch of Scyther on this page, then added Pigeot above that and then put in the outline of my trainer (I guess myself) before drawing Raichu, Trainer, Starmie, Magneton and then finally Machamp. It was an ugly process, and one that's still not complete. I've been meaning to go back and draw a real machamp, but I lost this sketchbook, and have been looking for it for a while.
