Flash 5 for frame by frame 2010-02-20 20:43:04 Reply

I used to use Macromedia Flash 5 ( 2002 ) and would still like to use it , old comp had only copy on it, friend had let me borrow it and when it crashed, thats why i stopped making animations, comp couldnt handle the amount of frames i had saved, lol, but now i have a good computer and it can handle the frames stored, im making a come back return. Just need to get that program , could anyone help me out here please. advice, where i can find it, etc?

"The program" as in Flash?

You're going to look at paying a good few hundred bucks to buy the latest version. Older versions are no longer sold on the macromedia website, so your best bet is eBay.

Thanks, I downloaded the newest Macromedia Flash 8 and got a 30 day trial. But I'll try ebay, thanks again.

Its not new , the newest is adobe flash CS4 which is like 3-4 years newer

I think he might want to stick with Macromedia instead of switching over to Adobe.

I agree. I think Flash 8 was much easier to work with than than CS4 is.
