with all the recent interest in stickam and skype, i think it would be best to create a thread devoted to such meetings that way the lounge doesn't get cluttered with all of these posts

this thread will be used for sharing current skype and stickam meetings or if a meeting is to be planned for the future, that can also be done here

if you want in just pm the person organising the meet with your skype user name or post it here, id recommend the first one

I use Digsby on my windows laptop and Adium on my mac (I love that little duck!) ...both apps let you combine all (multiple) of your instant messaging/social networking accounts into one. Very handy.

Also... just a quick reminder to make sure your passwords and 'secret' recovery questions are solid and secure. It's best if the info posted in this thread ISN'T tied to your NG account at all. Better safe than sorry! ;)

I got a random friend request on msn from a person with the email [e-mail], I accepted it at first thinking she was from NG, but now i realize that she is not. I dont know if they got the address from here or somewhere else, but im just letting you guys know. Shes playing it like shes from one of those love/sex dating sites. thats why we prefer if in the invitation you state your from ng and your username, avoids random adds most of the time
