Whats this? An abomination of my skills! X.o
I dont use flash or anything like that, I rather use Toon Boom or tryout my daddys privat made upgrades. For example, hes working on creating a program who can auto sync lip movement. Thats cool. He manage to do a easy prototype, it manages to sync some vocals.
I wonder if there is some more Toon Boom user out there? And/or people like me, have a crazy mum/dad who like to creat there very own flash programs? I would also like to have some tips for Toon Boom user and I though keeping the thread open for others peoples newbie questions.

Do you know your way around ToonBoom? Which version of ToonBoom are you using? Studio? Animate?
I hate to be brutal, but your description of the animation you posted was rather accurate. But, everybody starts somewhere so don't take it hard. Try with a simple exercise such as a bouncing ball.
Here's a good tutorial to get you started.

Hehe, the animation was a joke. Trust me, I can do way better.
I dont now the exact version of Toon Boom my father own, he just sometimes force me to try them. Becuse he keep upgrading them the whole time. I though of that after i posted, there is probably no chance you manage to help me. Becuse the programs are not what the used to be.
He upgraded a flash program we had for an example. And old moldy thing that noone used for a long time. He sat infront of the computer for about 4 months. Then one morning he just yelled "Robin! I need you to try something out!"
He told me to draw a simple lineart skeetch. And I did, he scanned it into the computer and after 2 minuts, it hade been drawn by the program. Not so advance? 2 weeks later, after fixing all the bugs, he came running again. This time he hade manage to make the program to colour the skeetch, using "point and click" commands by the user.
So right now his sitting by the computer (now on little Toon Boom) trying to make new upgrades that makes the big companies red with anger.
So I only used it about once, right before big daddy pushed me off the computer chair. I can use flash, I just need to be ready the next time I hear "Robin!" So it be good for some tutoring about Toon Boom.

If he's changing it in such a way that you aren't able to become familiar with the program, how could you expect to be prepared next time he has you try it out. Not to mention how could he expect you to be prepared for the changes?
This forum is more for learning animation technique, and not necessarily learning how to use programs. If I were you I'd ask your father to sit you down and teach you, because if the upgrades are really changing the program all that much, it'd be impossible for anybody to teach you but him. He'd also be able to teach you better than any website or forum could.
