The environment in Battlement is split into square tiles. Players spend energy to move and attack, and regenerate energy at a rate of 2 every second, on the second. A move from one tile to the next is instant, which lets players move as fast as they want in the short term, but in the long run everyone travels about the same speed.Because there are very few limitations on short-term motion, player skills like coordination, speed, and reflexes are important, but it may be surprising to know that prediction is what wins the most fights. This is because a player can easily move 3-4 tiles before his opponents have seen and comprehended his first move. If you want to attack the enemy or dodge their attacks, you must act upon their moves before you see them move.
Battlement is a Java game, which has multiplayer functions; well the whole game right now is multiplayer. The game is based on mid-evil warfare consisting of archers, long swordsmen, and mages and so on. Players fight 1v1 to 5v5 with or without spectators in match. Players can make their own account or be a guest. In addition, players can make their own maker using a text program such as notepad. The music for the game fits in to its mid-evil war theme. The one major downside is the lack of a big storyline, but there are some maps the you can make a story with. Finally, the game will be updated often to improve game play, fix bugs, fix glitches, add units, make effects, but most of all to make the game better.
