So, I'm kind of a noob at this whole Flash thing. I've wanted to start making Flash sprite animations for a while and I just got Adobe Flash.

I already know how to do tweens and motion guides (newbie stuff) from an Adobe Flash summer class I took.

The real question is: HOW THE HELL DO I DO THE PARALLAX SCROLLING EFFECT?! (The faster moving of the foreground than the background for a pseudo-3D effect)

I know that there are two types: The background and foreground moving in opposite directions, and the foreground moving faster than the background. I just don't know the ActionScript 2.0 coding for it.

How do I code the parallax effect for 2 layers? 3 layers? 4 layers? 5+ layers?

Please answer ASAP as I'm a desperate newbie here. Thanks! :D
