I'm new to flash...however I'm grasping it rather quickly...some how.
As a flash "noob" I was wondering if anyone had any pointer's or advise on animation.
everything on my page was made in less then 2 days within 5 hours both day's.
does anyone have any tricks that their willing to share ? or any dark stories I could use ?
I use flash pro 8, and I have a bamboo tablet.

*sigh*
Well I know that they don't suck, I've never gotten blamed, and my scores are pretty good.
look at my work before you post somthing so inane.
the question was if anyone had anything to contribute.
dark story or advise.

story's can be found a plenty among the internets. This google thingy majig helsp sort it.
also helping you with "animation" is vague.
Judging by your flashes you need work on your art.
Then if you are going to do that sketchy style you should work in alot of shadows and such.
next just learn animations, plenty of tutorials and books out there.
Book wise I recommend Cartoon Animation by Prestan Blair.
Over all just practice practice practice.

you pretty much just screamed out your flaw in your own post.
Put ALOT more development time in your work. I work a full days shift longer then that.
Hey, you're looking for stories for a Horror Flash Animation?
I'm from Mexico and there are pretty messed up stories here, such as legends, psychos, etc.
You should google Mexico Leyends or something like that. Look for the most horrifying ones.
If you're looking for good, dark stories, I would suggest poe or lovecraft.
One thing that will really help you out with animation is a book called 'the animators workbook', from Watson-Guptill publications. Essentially, it walks you through the process that professional animators for disney and such would go through to create a believable animation, including animating stick figure skeletons to get down the basics of motion, then re-drawing the complete character over top. I would also suggest that you use frame by frame animation as often as you have the patience for it... It really adds an extra special something to your animations.
You're gunna have to dedicate yourself a little more if you want to "get good"
5 hours is nothing when it comes to animation. So if your lazy and don't like doing work. Animation might not be for you.

Or you could use a free resource! (Books are great, but in my opinion, a visual is much better in this case)
Adam Phillips (www.biteycastle.com) recorded 3 hours of himself working on an animated sequence in his last short "the Last of the Dashkin", while explaining what he was doing the entire time! It's def. worth a look if your interested in checking out how a pro goes from scratch to a final, quality sequence.
There are currently 20/33 5 minutes videos he has uploaded, the first one can be found Here

cool story bro
As for your style, I like how it looks rough and dark with the whole sketchy look of your linework, but you could probably try handling your subject like a whole instead of working on each part individually. I saw in your animation that you are being really extremist with layers, and individually working on each. When working on, for example, lip sync, the mouth isn't the only thing that moves. Eyebrows, jaw and ears move as well, besides from the almost involuntary hand and body motion.
and I would post an example if flash wouldn't had just crashed on me.

yeah, Ive figured out lipsyncing, it doenst show in my latest flash submissions but I'm working on somthing with voice actors and I know about setting the speech sounds to "stream" and sound things out to the mouth movements.
Im getting more and more patient with my work and I may stat doing things frame by frame. i don't like the tween look anymore.
The guy who made bitey really puts alot of time into his work thanks for the post.

Even if you do not like it, you need to get the right proportions and if you're spending 5 hours a day doing fbf, you're not gonna get far, so stick with tween until you're confident that you can add patience to your animation and spend an hour making sure it's fresh and smooth.
