Hey, guys. I have reinstalled Windows 7 on my computer, and now thinking of installing Flash on it so i could continue making flash games.
But, my friend told me that Flash CS3 that I have (I bought it from Adobe) sucks balls compared to the newest Flash CS4 that he has. (He tried both.)
So, here is my question: Should I install my Flash CS3, or find Flash CS4 on the internet for free? I can't decide - CS3 I already have and I'm %100 sure that I have no spy ware/viruses on it (It's in my Adobe Premium package I bought for $600), and CS4 that I DON'T have yet, and risk getting spy ware/viruses, although it has some cool new features like BONES!!!
I REALLY want bones in Flash, and it would make my work a LOT easier and better with them, but can someone who has Flash CS4 say if it's any good?
I need a decision today, because I actually have time!
Thanks!

Yeah, I know that "Let Me Google That For You" thing, and I have already tried, but it comes up with photoshop (Usually), and I want newgrounds people's opinion, not some other forum.
I need opinion of people who have or at least tried both!

Well you should try your friends CS4 version since that is a point of access for you to try it and see how you like it. I have heard of CS4 being buggy and I have had some first hand experience of some buggy behavior though nothing too serious. I have never used any other version though, so I cannot say it is less or more buggy than CS3 or if it is better or worse but it works fine for me most of the time. Also, you could upgrade for only 100 dollars on the adobe website to CS4 instead of downloading it free with the risk of viruses right?

Viruses shouldnt be your concern , the concern should be that its being a dirty stinking pirate faggot who wants to steal from adobe and aid their oblivion by helping to drown their resources . they dont charge money just for fun , people work long and hard to make those programs and improvents , adobe needs to pay them somehow , the less money they have (because of pirates) the less they can improve the programs and eventually well have no adobe and be stuck with all the shitty substitutes that cant do jack shit and then well drive them into the ground too , CS3 is just fine and the amount of time it takes to rig things well with bones is ridiculous , unless youre a programmer stick with CS3 , i have both trust me.

He said it all. Thanks. I'll keep my current version and just figure out how to do professional animations myself. Although pirating IS illegal, I had CS3, and upgrading for a $100 bucks for a few new features and a shitload of bugs isn't worth it.
To buy a NEW copy though, for just Flash CS4 I think would be around $300. Not $600.
It's just too much. But I'm a student so I got all adobe programs for MUCH cheaper.

Why would you buy CS4?
The only thing it has is the bone tool I think and that isn´t so great. CS3 ist still an awesome program, it´s what Adam Phillips used to make Last Dashkin.

It turns out I will have to get CS4 from the internet. My dad will need the Adobe package for his own job. Oh well, I would have had to install a bunch of other Adobe software from the package and it would slow down my computer, but now I'll try CS4.
Thanks guys.
