I really like this technique and I think it's great! IN-CAS-U-DONT-NO Stopframe animation is where you take pictures of a model of something moving slightly in each one. There are LOADS of ways to do it:
Clay
Paper Cut-Outs
Rubbish (Yes, this means making it out of rubbish you find in the bin, I came up with it myself)
Cel (Drawing on plastic)
Hand-Drawn (Drawing on paper)
Drawings moving over objects (A really clever technique used in recent adverts)
Felt Cut-Outs
Stopflash (Combining a method above with Adobe Flash)
It was Robert Benfer (AKA Knox/Bad Idea Productions) who brought this style to Newgrounds in 2003. I plan to make stopframe more than just clay on Newgounds in the future.

I am making a stopmotion right now using a dry erase board, it's essentially the same thing as hand drawn but I find it easier

People that go on newgrounds and watch an actual animation, drawn with a mans hand and a computer mouse, will receive poor reviews when compared to top quality films, animations, etc from other people... Now, If i did the same exact thing, but on a chalkboard, and went frame by frame, EXACTLY as before, they will assume that was much harder to make and rate much higher... wtf...
And stop motion films came to be around the 1960's.

Stop-frame is an animation technique to make a physically manipulated object appear to move on its own. Stop-frame animation using clay is described as clay animation or clay-mation. The first instance of the stop-frame animation technique can be credited to Albert E.
