From time to time when I'm walking down to work I get a person of Native descent who says to me, "Hey brotha, can you spare a dollar?" I usually just give them a dollar I can spare. I just hope they spend it on something good and not on drugs or anything.

Kids on the other hand, I don't give them anything. Most cases they are trying to be funny or try to annoy me to impress their friends. I had one kid who asked if he could have my moustache. Seriously, those kind of people piss me off.

I'm fairly nice, I usually throw them a dollar or two just because it makes me feel bad inside if I don't give an obviously homeless person money because they could use it towards food. True, it could be used toward drugs as well, but you can't buy much drugs with $1-2 but $1-2 could be used on food easily.

Fuck hobos. Once there was a hobo standing outside a gas station and when I was done paying for my drinks he asked if he could have some money. So I went back in my car and listened to some music, 5 minutes later I see the motherfucker came out with a 40oz.

I do not I have ever encountered a single homeless person at all or at least none that had a cup and kept asking for change. I probably would in fact give some change if I had any, but I would not give out dollar bills. I even myself have a huge collection of change that's possibly in the hundreds of dollars, so I would know what it's like.

One time, a long time ago, when i left a shop an old, extremely thin guy comes over to me and asks for some change. He didn't reek of alcohol. "My God" i thought, this poor old man really needs some help. So i gave him some cash. Later that day when i was walking down the street i saw THE SAME thin, old guy lying on the pavement, totaly drunk with a empty bottle of vodka next to him! Nice... from that day on i always tell hobos to fuck off.

I just don't give money away, it's as simple as that. In the town I used to live in I would get asked for money practically on a daily basis and it was always the same people; junkies and alcoholics. I'd see them getting money from people and then going and spending it on booze.
