Ching Li, The Farmer. 2010-02-12 20:42:49 Reply

Ching Li was a regular Chinese farmer who worked very hard on what he owned, he had a wife and a kid, and a small house.
One day a glorious Chinese official visited his house.

"Can I have your house? The honorable Chairman wants it so he can destroy it and build a new swimming pool." The official said.

"Sure, in fact, you can have everything inside it." Said Ching Li.

"Ok, thank you, I didn't really want to use my gun today to beat you until you gave it to me, OR call in the army to forcibly take it." The official explained.

"No problem! I don't want to waste the glorious army's time on getting a statistical person like me that doesn't account for anything except extra granary in China's eyes anyways!" Ching Li said gladly.

A few days passed, and Ching Li no longer had a house, and his kid was starting to become weak (because he was lazy) and his wife cried herself to sleep every day, but it was tears of joy, of course.

One day the official came back.

"I need your kid so I can make him a worker with no future in the new shoe factory we're building." Said the official.

"Sure, take him, anything for the common good of the Chinese people!" Ching Li said happily.

"But daddy I don't want to go work in a factory." His kid said weakly.

"SHUT UP! You lazy child!" Both the official and Ching Li said at the same time.

The official took the child, and Ching Li's wife committed suicide, because her happiness overwhelmed her. A week later, the official came back, but Ching Li didn't have anything.

"All I have left is myself" Said Ching Li.

"That's ok, all I wanted was to draft you into the army!" Said the official.

At that moment, Ching Li wanted to say something, something that had swelled up inside him from the day he lost his house. Something that had been planted when his father had a talk to him about why things are how they are. Something that was so ready to come out, burst, explode out of him, something that made his blood boil, something that he had always wanted to say, something that he couldn't control. An urge to release this something that he wanted to release so much, that it was gripping on his mouth, opening it to say:

"YES! Finally! I can finally fight for the country I love so much! Thank you official! You've made my day!" Ching Li cried out.

Ching Li became a good soldier, until his general decided to use him as a meat shield in his new tank rush strategy, and he died, but died in glorious happiness.

That's why Ching Li is someone every communist can look up to, he's a noble person who did everything for his glorious country.

The End.

It was okay, at best. I mean it takes very little thought to figure what will happen and it's really not that funny...or maybe I'm just not fond of Commi humor.

Bold and endearing. This probably could pass as real propaganda.
