An easy, frame by frame practice you can try!

Instructions: Draw an image, and animate it so that it morphs, or does some crazy weird thing, eventually causing it to look the way it previously did. This practice allows you to be very creative, and ultimately produce a short animation that can look very nice and interesting.

A few examples of this: (1) (2) (3) (4).

Here is an example that I made.

Tips: After drawing frame 1 (The image that the animation begins and ends with) copy it, and paste it as frame 2, so that you have two identical frames next to each other. Then, create a bunch of blank frames in between them and put your animation into those blank frames. Also, onion skin is your friend!

Please post any examples in this thread. These really don't take long to make (10-30 minutes, depending on how detailed yours is). Mine took about 15 minutes.

:D

Ah, an excellent idea for a thread!

This is actually the first animation I have posted, and a crappy one at that. Spent about twenty or so minutes on this one. The puke morph thingy still didn't turn out the way I wanted, but I still like it.

Here you go sir.

I think it looks pretty good. The only problem is that after the guy is vomitted out, he just motion tweens to the right, and it doesn't look natural, or atleast, not natural enough for an animation about a guy vomitting out himself.

You can't blame me from trying!

I might try to improve it, just needs some criticism :).

I decided to make one. It's not too morphy though, more like a random looping animation.
