my first animation!

First of all, don't try to make animations if you don't know how to animate well. Not trying to criticize you, but that wasn't very good.

Before yo even try to start animating, take some advice I wish I had gotten when I tried animating the first time; learn the very basics first. like, ok, you can make something move. Alright, but it doesn't look like you've upped the FPS in any way. And I don't think you used Onion Skinning in that movie. If you don't know what FPS and Onion Skinning is, you can't make an animation. You really need to learn these. If you do know, and you've upped the frame rate and used Onion Skinning, well then practice a lot more before you try showing off your work.

Before making an animation, you have to know the basics. Like, for instance, a walking cycle. Try practicing a head turning. A jump. I'm basically taking all these from the weekly practices DarkShadow is doing but still. Try to animate some really basic things before trying to make a whole flash. If you don't want to learn all this stuff and all you want to do is go straight to making awesome videos, well then you can't use flash.

Sorry if I'm being a bit harsh, but try to do this stuff before making a full movie!

It's good that you were smart enough not to upload that to the portal. Pretty good keep practicing.

The key to making an actual flash though is to storyboard it. If you don't know what that is look it up.

Also, Sound is crucial. If it sounds right it Will look right but without sound it will never fly.
