Windows is saying that my copy of it is not genuine...... when i boot up it starts of normally then goes into a black screen with a message asking me to type my activation code then in the corner it says "

Windows vista
Build 6000
This Copy of windows is not genuine

Does anyone know whats happened as my copy is 100% genuine and has worked for the last 2 and a bit years.

Did you try typing your activation code in? If you have one that is.

This has happened to a lot of people. Try googling it because I avoid Vista like the plague.

Yeah, sounds like at some point it didn't recognize your activation code. I'd say try reinstalling, and if that doesn't work, give the boys at Microsoft a call and start bitchin. Maybe you'll get free shit.
