I remember the first time I smoked weed - at a party when I was like freshman in HS. Shit was sick, and I went from being a depressed nerdy kid with no friends to a crazy person that the school looks up to.
But I wouldn't have made it if I hadn't have smoked weed. Now I do it occasionally, but it doesn't rule my life. Like I'll smoke when I have it, but that's only every other month or so.
But yeah, whatever you do, don't be a narc. Nobody likes a narc, and if you do that with the wrong people you'll wind up getting yourself shot.

WEED DOES NOT MAKE YOU STUPID. Honestly, since I've started smoking weed I have gotten my grades up to all A's and 1 B.

It kills your brain. and for scarykid, it may be making you happy now, but what about the edgy bad highs you get once in a while? When you are scared of nearly everything? Not so fun. Your grades will start dropping faster than the bombs at pearl harbor.

Now, I never said people look up to me BECAUSE I smoke weed. In fact, most people at school don't know, I try to keep it on the down low. What I'm saying is that ever since I've started smoking weed, I've been more social, happier, better suited to get friends, I've gotten better grades because I'm less depressed, and even with the occasional time I do green out from smoking too much weed, I can handle myself and everything is better in an hour or two.
Honestly, it sounds like YOU need to smoke some weed.
I have plenty of pothead friends...it doesn't really bother me.

You are obviously a person who has never smoked weed before, there is no such thing as a "bad high" if you are smoking weed. Maybe if you are smoking crack fucking cocaine or heroin or some shit like that, weed is honestly the weakest "drug" out there. You should look up the REAL reason why it's illegal, and not all the bullshit propaganda that they put out nowadays.
And the only way you are going to get real brain damage from it, is if you smoke it ALL THE TIME EVERYDAY. Just like with anything out there, overuse has side effects, drinking too much soda will rot your teeth, fuck your liver etc. But if you vary it (aka don't do it everyday) than it will be fine, I took a month long break with no problems and I usually only smoke on weekends anyway.
And let me say this also, it's not a "gateway" drug for anyone who thinks that, ALCOHOL is a fucking gateway drug, and a hell of a lot worse than weed. I have been offered a ton of shit, and never have I tried any of it, weed is the only thing I do, I don't drink ('cept a casual beer at a party) and I never smoke cigarettes and I have perfect health.
