1.) Don't use notebook paper.
2.) Try shading.
3.) Add a little bit more complexion.
4.) Work on anatomy.
5.) Make everything seem a little less...flat.

well yea I did that with one and decided its quicker not to and sometimes it ruins the picture but heres one of them http://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/catzi lla/sun
You have to colour GOOD before it's good. Throwing colour on haphazardly doesn't make it better.
Also, spend more time and effort on your pieces.

It was...ok? Just go to your local department store and buy a drawing pad, the only time I had ever used lined paper was to improvise cause I was out of drawing paper for a couple of months. Unless you are in that same situation, then buy a drawing pad, you can find one for about $3.00. But one again, try not to make everything look so flat, use some shading to bring out actual depth, and if you are using pencil then do some values.

Sometimes color ruins the picture if you don't know what you're doing.
Pretty much everything gman said up there.
anatomy
shading
But you can't have shading without a good understanding of light sources

The isometric view has depth, but the colouring you did on the building, the checker pattern, totally destroyed the depth it had.

Just so you know, there were no American tanks in Germany during WW2.

Yes, the majority of American European fighting was in France and Belgium, but don't forget that the Russians had Shermans too. Also, aforementioned battle of Aachen, a German city. Close to border? Yes. Not in Germany? No.
I have nothing to say that is at all relevant.

It still seems a little flat, and the way the colors are it was totally fucking with my eyes. Maybe you should maybe check out some tutorials on how to do perspective.
