I have 3 parts to a character. A torso, a floppy arm, and the legs. The torso is a still image and the arm and the legs are separate layers that have frame by frame motion to them. I tweened the torso to run across the screen, and I want the legs and arm to follow accordingly to match his movements. But it only edits frame by frame and I cannot add a motion tween to extend to the length of the torso. I would like some advice or help on what to do. How do I add a tween to multiple frames?

im not totlat understand what your asking but ima try to help, when u tween u dont frame by frame it all. u make only 2 keyframe the first that the last. first is where your moving object starts and second is where it stops. then u create a bunch of regular frames inbetween and tween them. if your question is about the legs tweening u are probally going to need to make them a symbol.then u can tween them to flow with your torso? any help? if not rewrite your question

I'm pretty much asking how to make a tween over multiple frames that aren't 2 keyframes. I have many different frames each with a different drawing, and I want to move them all as a group so the legs still have frame by frame motion, but they move across the screen. The legs are moving with animation, but they are also moving with tween. Get what I'm saying? I want the legs to move with the torso but I still want them to keep the frame by frame motion I animated them.

I'll try that! Thanks! I'm not familiar with symbols and movie clips and stuff, that's how animations are used in games! Thanks a lot! I UNDERSTAND...EVERYTHING..... 0__0

yea what your going to do is make a movie clip of your legs moving and a movie clip with your arm moving and tween them with the torso. when tweening u can only tween one object per layer. The when ur character stops you just swap the moving legs symbol with a standing still symbol.
