What are some good movies you recommend seeing, because i want to know if the movie i'm gonna get is good before i get them.

can you be more specific? what are you looking for? i've seen so many movies and liked a lot of them, but i prefer films that have good direction, dialogue, and plot; mostly drama films, which are actually enjoyable, not how you'd think of them as like "play" movies
i saw powder blue last night. it has jessica biel, an incredibly hot stripper whose father was locked up in prison for 25 years and she thought he died, a geeky kid who works in a mortuary, and a poor black man who tries to have other people take his life for him after his wife dies. it's just about lonely people and coming together again.

good scary movies are mostly suspense. the skeleton key, cloverfield, and quarantine are the only good ones i can think of. they have actual realistic-style plots.
and you can also see drag me to hell if you're interested in screamer-style shit, because that's all it is.

A good scary movie? Quarantine (I especially recommend the spanish version) and The Orphanage (which is also a panish film) are probably the best scary films I've seen in the last few years.

You should watch Tarintino's latest: Inglorious Basterds!
It has a great story and awesome supporting cast. its something that you could watch many times and still be satisfied!

Well then you might wanna watch Nightmare on Elm Street, Hellraiser or Exorcist. These are great classic horror movies if you're tired of all the new "crap".
