this project was a major disappointment for me because I literally thought this was suppose to be the head of my carrier as a animator, one of my best works
this project was heavily inspired by mirrors edge and parkour and various sprite movies at the time but it failed mainly for 3 reasons
I kept on looking at front-page flashes and was became dissatisfied with my work
I had to animate the same thing about 3 to 4 times over due to flash issues and my migration from SWISH to FLASH and had grown sick of the project
My style was slowly changing from sprite Google-searching to pixel animation, making me even more dissatisfied with my work,
I even tried going back and altering my work to fit my new style but ended up just wanting to break free of the endless cycle.
meh, the idea wasn't really all that original anyway, and I had already thought up a better idea for a series anyway
I'll probably submit a better version of this sometime after my other projects are finished

Well fro starters, dont compare your self to front page, or anyone else.
Be Inspired? Yes
use if for motivation? Defiantly
Compare? never.
Why? Because you are not them, Nor are they you. They may have had more practice, More time, More help, Different inspirations, Different Ideas.
If Egoraptor wasn't talked into submitting Metal Gear Awesome, he never would have, He felt it would have gotten Blammed because of whats on front page, and the quality of other animations out there.
Some of the best, and often most funny are not super over the top amazing animations.
Sure you want to push your self, Drive for perfection, But perfection doesn't exist. Nore will you learn anything from hording all your work and never letting it out there to get criticism or praise.
Also know there are lot of talented people here on Newgrounds that in fact have had there stuff blammed before.
Sometimes it can be heartbreaking, Sometimes you put more into a project then what it gets . But you just have to pick your self up and dust yourself off and keep moving.
then with practice and time you just get better and better.
done with my speech

I had to learn that the hard way lol
but still their animation's were comprehensible
My previous ones were unorganized, sloppy, and rushed
