Unless you were held back all the way to kindergarten, which is very unlikely, please stop using that as an excuse. You should be able to draw more seriously complex works at your age, and by that, if I am correct is 16 years old.

I am just saying, why not explore coherently thematic subjects such as a specific character, place of event? Maybe an emotion or feeling as well. There's so many things you can still learn at your age. I started when I was 7, and believe it or not, I am still just now learning basic rules of anatomy, even at age 21. By now, I should be drawing like Da Vinci, but I didn't study the basic rules, and now I am paying for it.

Even so, I feel I am doing better because I have decided to actually study my art. Perhaps you should do the same. Start now, and you'll be a lot better off than I was, even if I did just have a natural affinity to drawing at a young age. Do yourself a favor and study. Be prepared for long hour days as well, because I know I am.
