I've been thinking about doing art more and more often lately, and I recently drew about half of an elephant for a drawing collaboration with another person, so I'm just gonna leave that here.

Well I asked captain-ben because he had a newspost saying he wanted to do some collabs with people but didn't know what to do so I offered an elephant and he told me to start.
Also I was surprised when I made that elephant, usually I have weird line art mixed with awkward shaded things and it doesn't turn out to good.
Oh boy a tentacle guy!
just some practice, trying not to get too rusty with my drawing while I'm on my PS3 all the time.
I used a paper template from the notepad collab or whatever the proper name is, and messed with the opacity and size of brushes/erasers to try and emulate pencils. I think it turned out okay but not a very good picture.

Oh lorhdy!
Tentacle man on what looks like to be a deformed cupcake at first.
Space dragon seems rather boring, and, sorry to say, not done well. Looks very rushed and such.
That reminds me of an old, aisian midget, with his pants wayyyy high
That COW submission is trippin balls worthy
This text is in bold, which makes me aweso and your statement irrelevant.
seems like you're drawing from imagination with final line/paint work immediately
try sketching out the form of the drawing first, basic circles, nothing more, to get the weight and placement correct. then draw a rough of the character, then do final work. it will give your drawing more vitality

I don't do this often enough because I am accustomed to doodling in notebooks at school, but you have some very good advice here.
I decided to try it, and I ended up with something I was very happy with. It turned into a bit of an animation you can see here
I plan to use it if i do a pico day flash.
Had a flick through your stuff and it's all pretty quirky. I like it. I think my favorite is the green bird type thing, he seems like a pretty chill dude. Makes me think of a hyper parrot?
"what a silly picture, knives aren't blue"- has got to be one of the best titles i've read in a while.
It all sort of reminds me slightly of like a toon version of the Dada movement.
The art itself is you're main weak point, you're ideas are pretty fantastic. But you're skills will improve with time, just keep on practicing.
I think it'd be cool if you could maybe include a background in you're next drawing. And spend a bit more time making sure you're 100% happy with all the shapes before filling it in.
Good luck, I hope you keep at it :D
nobody goes there anymore. its too popular.
You got a pretty good thing going here. Dat Pico is delightfully creepy.
animation needs a bit of work, like the top lip would have some movement i guess, same for the sides, favourite so far has got to be the elephant in the first post

dont agree.
I have some bad attempts at graffiti lettering coming soon but in the meantime enjoy this cat face filler:
You're trying too hard to keep the normal block shape of the letters, but still trying to add things on and such to "change" them.
Think more fluidly and try and change the structure of the letter, not just adding points and such to the original shape.
ehh a WIP of a trying to get work in on my submission for the NG hip Hop art competition thingy, the G is giant because I am doing it large and then putting it next to the smaller letters once i finish.

OOPS! LOL first time I've ever done that in my almost 4 years here.

Thanks, it's good to hear positive feedback!
though I apparently don't use arrows correctly according to certain person(s), how would I go about doing it the right way? Anyone have any advice for me?
