Did a sort of Dinosaur jump in the Animations weeklies series earlier this week. That is what inspired this. I was going to put this there but I'm going to make it into a sort of short movie. Here's what I have so far. Still have too detail the the net capture part and go from there.
Your thoughts and critiques are appreciated!

it also reminds me a bit of that Adam Philips camera sample (where you see creatures playing near a waterfall)

Woah. That is top-notch stuff you got right there. Seriously professional looking.

Really nice fbf work there.
My only gripe is that the line quality could be better, but then again it is just a sketch.
Maybe have someone do frame cleanup?
Keep on making stuff! Can't wait to see a polished animation by you. :)

Really nice stuff. Good sense of weight and good acting. The only major hiccup that stuck out at me is right after his 'take' and just before he jumps it seems it could use a few inbetweens as his head just instantly snaps downward. Other than that, great job, I want to see the finished project!

Damn son that bitch is smoo~th.
The squash and stretch is perfect, even as a simple outline it's entertaining to watch.
... It's actually kind of mesmerizing.
The only suggestions I have are that after he notices the food, he freezes and skips to a new position. It still fits, but it could be something to fix. Another small detail being that you can see his foot through the food after he jumps.

( Just practice, learning the principle of animation, the mechanics of it. All that jazz) But most of all practice.
Don't really have any tricks. I suggest reading The Animators Survival Kit. It is a must have for any animator. Did I mention practice? haha
Another big thing is feedback. Showing your work to others to get feedback is big. Someone seeing it from another perspective.
