Money Angst

I honestly hate money. If it wasn't around and nobody else had it, and we didn't have any sort of banking system the world would really be a better place. It causes all problems, well besides religion..If all material things dissapered i really think i'd be a happier person. I might not have the comforts i enjoy but i would be stress free. Everybody else would too...

Sadly, money makes the world go round.. and even Notorious B.I.G. said "'Mo money, ;mo problems".

Without money materials would have no sense of value and work would be unrewarded. People would get bored and kill each other. If you replaced money with say a goat for a bag of oranges(aka trade). people would kill farmers and steal the goats then get loaded on oranges.

Money isn't the issue, we are.

Money is physically useless, yet socially and economically (obvious) its very important. Money is currency. So its either we have money, which is nationally interchangeable and has a value, or we trade cattle, which we would barter weather 5 chickens is worth 1 bull. OR no trade at all, which would really suck.

it isnt perfect, but money is better than the alternatives.

dont counter this with "what if we traded stuff freely" because it will never happen.

I was thinking about this this morning. If money weren't present and everybody did something just cuz it needed done wouldn't it make the world kinda better? I sound like a hippy but it's kinda true.

Well I don't see it as valuable. I see it as an unfortunate necessity. Really I long to shun society and live in a forest off the land, but that always ends with returning to society due to a longing for social interactions with other people and society.

exactly..people are becoming fat slobs. I myself am at a weight i'm not comfortable with. If we went to this people would get rid of that fat, learn to defend themselves/family/friends, and get their shit without having to depend on someone else. Doing things yourself also sharpens the mind. You don't really need to know how the universe works..all you need to know is how to survive. I wish people would stop trying to find out how the big bang happened...if they eventually do..they're going to be really dissapointed, because god doesn't want his secrets out.

We're going to far, why do you think weather is getting worse, and people are starting to get chaotic?
