We need to get our topic rate up! 2010-02-01 21:48:30 Reply

Seeing as we have a new board all to ourselves, we should be making tens of thousand of topics...A DAY!

I mean, together with the collaboration section, we are on the weakest side of topics and I, for one, WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS!

Lets make this topic about doodles and animations you started but never managed to finish!

LET US SHOW OUR PROCRASTINATING WITH PRIDE! LET US BE THE SLACKERS WE WANT TO BE!

WE...ARE ANIMATORS!

I'm the type of guy who is a master in procrastinating in all honesty.
I have an entire HDD filled with unfinished, 10 second long animations, on which I say "I'll finish that some later point in time, now I have this new idea! With the swoesh and the shwam!"

I mean, I like animating so much I find news of doing things every week. And every week another animation get stacked in the "to do" section.

This is one I hope I never finish...Because I started very awesome...But slowly it turned to crap...The more I leave it there, the less I go in it, and the suckier the animation becomes.
But this one where I am very proud of.

So Animators! show us your unfinished work, which will never get uploaded, because you won't find the inspiration or the time it needs to finish it!

In short....Work in progress.

I wouldn't suggest spamming the boards. It will become a waste and you'll lose all of the serious people who are good. Topics will go by in a matter of seconds and people wont get things answered or commented on when they need. Just try to stay active and help other people out. If you want, maybe make a thread for your animations where you post all of your WIP so people who like your stuff can come and see? It's better than having hundreds of topics with 0-3 replies.

At the rate most people make uncompleted/scraped work as to a finished project, you'd think the topics would be flowing.

yes, but he didn't name his topic appropriate, someone should recreate it and immideately state what you should do (instead of a rant).

Good point.

Someone should do that.

And I mean now.
