Hey everyone, I'm a great fan of William Shakespeare and recently started writing poetry, so here it is:

"Out of darkness and stepping into the light." By Jack .H. Longman

"You thought you saw the last of me,
well guess what you were wrong.
Things have changed and time move on,
but in my mind everything is still the same.
I've got you in my sights target lock on,
now it's time for me to return."

"Born of this world but come from another,
walking the plains of darkness with total disregard.
Changing everything that I disagree with,
I have killed Fate and became Destiny.
Out of the shadows I step,
Walking in darkness no more."

"I know what I want and know it well,
choice is mine I have a future to control.
Once the Student but now the Master,
sitting in the throne of my very own court.
I left this world to rule my kingdom,
but now it's time for me to come home."

"Time means nothing to me for I have eternity,
I have lost everything except for my soul,
everything you see isn't real,
it is all just a dream.
For too long I've had to hide well no more I say.
I'm still alive and it's time for you to know that."

"Look out world here I come,
no time for losing I'm here to win.
You can't defeat me so don't even try,
now here the words that I cry.
I now glide out of darkness and step into the light,
and with this I bring justice and peace."

So what do you all think of that, just sat round staring at a piece of paper and this is what came out.

Here are some more poems that I have written, some are short and do not rhyme, but then poetry does have many forms, so please enjoy:

POEM 1:

"Only in truth will his dark side be revealed,
his past about to be relived,
finally his soul shall be exposed,
much pain it will bring but the truth shall set him free."

POEM 2:

"The gentleman walks the starry path,
alone at night but holding no fear,
he knows the game, he knows it well,
his soul was evil but now it's pure,
the man of shadows ruined for eternity,
for his sins, he must pay."

POEM 3:

"A past erased but never forgotten,
haunting him through his dreams,
every night brings another nightmare,
if only he could have an escape."

POEM 4:

"Ruling an abounded castle,
the prince kneels before an empty an empty throne,
his kingdom lost, as was his love,
now he is the lord of nothing."

POEM 5:
"Constantly ticking time is running out,
if you don't act fast it shall pass you by,
you'll be old and wither up and die.

"Entering the Spirit plain"

"One minute so full of life,
until one fell swoop of the scythe.
Hurtling through the spirit plain,
live no more for body slain.
No sense of touch taste or smell,
where am I is this Hell?
A room full of people enshrouded by mist,
can they not see me do I not exist?
Suddenly running down a long corridor
screams of horror like gutted boar.
I look at the bloodstained door and knock three times
can you hear the sound of Death's beautiful chimes?
The door swing comes ajar and beckons me in
and then i hear him "you can't escape me, you never win."
It is in that moment that I realize what has happened to me,
I had died and just became another soul to Reaper's fee."
